Geoffrey Popplewell (my father) was an artist, who spent his last years living on the Isle of Eday in the Orkney Isles. I recently visited Eday to check the house and rescued the artwork on this blog.  I wanted to preserve his work and share it with others. I will at some point add in titles and locations where I can. If you see any picture you like, you are welcome to download it. Clicking on a picture will  enlarge it. Most of the sketches are are of Orkney and Scotland.

Always a fan of Mrs Thatcher (I don't think). He wrote to her many times, until they told him to stop. He was so proud of that letter!
